How to Make Delicious Pani Puri
Ingredients
From the Kit:
- Crispy puris
- Pani puri masala
- Tamarind chutney
For the Filling:
- 2 medium-sized potatoes (boiled and mashed)
- 1/2 cup boiled chickpeas or sprouted moong beans
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
For Spicy Pani (Water):
- 2 tbsp Pani Puri Masala (from the kit)
- 4–5 cups of cold water
- 1/2 lemon (optional for extra tanginess)
For Sweet Tamarind Chutney:
- 2–3 tbsp Tamarind Chutney (from the kit)
- 1/4 cup water (optional, to thin out the chutney if needed)
Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the Filling:
- Boil and mash the potatoes.
- Mix with boiled chickpeas or sprouted moong beans.
- Add chaat masala, salt, and chopped coriander leaves. Set the mixture aside.

Prepare the Spicy Pani:
- In a large bowl or jug, mix 2 tablespoons of Pani Puri Masala with 4–5 cups of cold water.
- Stir well and taste the pani. Add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra tanginess, if desired.
- Chill the pani in the refrigerator for a refreshing flavor.

- If the chutney is too thick, dilute it with a small amount of water to achieve a pourable consistency.
- Adjust sweetness or tanginess by adding sugar or salt, based on your preference.

- Fill the puri with a spoonful of the potato and chickpea mixture.
